Daylesford Organic has been farming organically for over 35 years, with a simple passion for real food. Their animals enjoy a wholly natural grass and forage based diet, growing into strong and healthy animals, free from unnecessary chemicals, antibiotics and GM Feed. Daylesford works in partnership with an organic pig farmer just 20 miles from their Gloucestershire farm who shares their philosophy and who, with a lifetime of experience, really knows how to look after his happy pigs; they spend their entire lives outdoors on open, organic pastures with free access to deep straw beds. Daylesford have built and operate their own organic abattoir, so that they can be involved in the entire process from field to packaging. Ensuring that all the animals get the highest quality of care is of the utmost importance to them, and running their own abattoir is the only and best way for this to happen.
