Organic Blooms have put together this beautiful box of plug plant annuals ready for planting into the ground this spring and summer. Potted up in peat-free compost, your box will contain a gorgeous mix of different plants all perfect for growing as cut flowers or as border and container plants. Many of the species are ‘cut and come again’ so you can enjoy them in a vase, and then the plant will create more flowers later in the season too. Each plant is loved by our pollinator friends, making them the bees’ knees.

Jo Wright and her team at Organic Blooms work hard to bring organic flowers to your door. Based in Gloucestershire, they run as a social enterprise, providing jobs for those who might struggle in a traditional workplace. Horticultural therapy is at the heart of what they do – gardening and plant-tending being excellent options for those with varying support needs. We work with them to plan upcoming crops, making sure each flower is reliable, interesting and satisfying for their staff to grow. We’re proud to say that, because of our support, they’ve been able to hire more people than ever before.

Storage & prep

Just a little note: as the paper surrounding the plugs is unbleached, you may find a little mould present. It’s absolutely normal. It’s the beginning of the decomposition process that happens once they’re planted in the soil. Perhaps just slip on some gloves when you handle them.
