Get growing with Vital Seeds’ organic Paul Robeson Tomato Seeds. This variety is a true classic, producing large, beautiful beefsteak tomatoes with a dusky red colour and green shoulders. These tomatoes have a distinctive smoky, sweet and tangy flavour – perfect grilled and served with a classic English fry up.
Sow these fabulous seeds from end of January if you’re using a heated propagator, or in March without one. Transfer into pots when the seedlings have 3-4 leaves on them, then transplant into final growing position in May. If you’re planning on growing completely outside, plant after the last frost (mid – end of May). If you’re using pots or growing bags use at least 25cm pots.
