Less boozy than a Buck's Fizz, this orange juice and Champagne cocktail was invented at the Ritz in Paris in 1925. It's lightly sparkling and has a refreshing citrus flavour that makes it a great brunch drink to go with bacon, pancakes and maple syrup.

  • 360ml brut champage, well chilled
  • 360ml orange juice, chilled

Method

1. Add a handful of ice to 4 wine or copa glasses. Pour 90ml champagne into each glass, then top up with the chilled orange juice. Give the drinks a gentle stir, then tuck in a slice of orange to garnish and serve.
