Kiwi, Ginger & Banana Smoothie

Fresh and fruity with a fiery hit of ginger, this smoothie makes a great breakfast drink. Bananas and kiwi make a creamy combination with plenty of refreshing flavours. A swirl of almond drink brings them together.

Ingredients

  • A thumb of ginger
  • 4 kiwis
  • 2 bananas
  • 500ml almond drink

Method

1. Top and tail the kiwi fruit then stand them on their ends. Slice the skin off in vertical strips with a sharp knife. Roughly chop the kiwis and scoop them into a blender. Peel the bananas and break them into the blender.
2. Peel and grate in the ginger. Pour in 500ml almond drink and add a handful of ice. Blend till smooth. Pour into 2 large glasses and serve.
