Blood Orange & Beetroot Smoothie

This blushing beetroot and blood orange smoothie is whizzed with sweet, creamy banana and splash of coconut water. It’s just the thing to get your taste buds – and maybe even your feet – dancing.

Ingredients

  • 100g beetroot
  • 3 blood oranges
  • 1 banana
  • 250ml coconut water

Method

1. Scrub and coarsely grate the beetroot (no need to peel unless you want to). Add to your blender. Slice the skin and white pith from the oranges and discard it. Halve the oranges and flick out any pips. Add the orange flesh to the blender. Peel and break in the banana.
2. Pour in the coconut water. Add a few ice cubes and blitz till smooth. Serve straight away.
