Ben & Alice Moseley moved to Summerhill Farm, owned by the Soil Association Land Trust in October 2007. It is a small mixed farm in mid Devon, on the Two Moors Way which links Dartmoor and Exmoor. Among other things they have laying hens, a herd of red ruby cattle and these wonderful organic geese. They like to support their local community by offering school visits as well as volunteer days to help with the environmental management of the farm.

Once opened keep refridgerated. This product is for Christmas only and has a use by date of 26th Dec.
To prepare for cooking: Remove giblets. Prick skin under wing, sides of breast and by the parsons nose to allow fat to drain while cooking. Either place on a rack in roasting tin or prepare a second tin to collect fat when draining. Cook in a pre heated oven at approx 200 degrees C for approx 15mins/kg. Drain fat at regular intervals. When cooked allow to stand for 20 mins before serving.
Suitable for home freezing. Freeze as soon as possible after purchase and before use by date. Once frozen consume within 3 months. On defrosting consume the same day. Once thawed, do not refreeze.
