Get growing with these organic Lemon Drop Chilli Seeds from our friends at Vital Seeds. This popular variety produces a crinkly, yellow chilli with a hot, lemony flavour. Fairly spicy, they’re ideal for hot chill sauces with a citrusy twist or added to stir-fries.
Sow these fabulous seeds indoors from February. The ideal temperature is 20°C. If sown in a seed tray, seeds can be separated out into 10cm pots once they germinate. If grown in plugs pop them into their own pots when they have two sets of true leaves. Transplant into their final position in May, either under cover or in a sunny sheltered spot. The plants might need staking as they grow.
