Storage & prep

French beans just need a little light steaming, and a small knob of butter. They also go well in stir fries. French beans keep best in a paper bag in the bottom of your fridge. When they arrive empty out your bag of beans and check they’re all green and lovely. A bean that’s been slightly damaged at harvest can develop mould very quickly so whip out any dodgy beans and pop the rest back in the bag. This will mean the whole bag will last much longer.
Don’t forget to wash your fruit and veg before use.
