Five to six white hyacinth bulbs in a handmade terracotta planter, potted up with organic compost from our friends at Organic Blooms. The bulbs will flower within a couple of weeks and give off a beautiful scent. The planter is made by Willow Pottery in Bath, thrown and stamped by hand.

Storage & prep

Keep away from heat sources like radiators, water a little if the soil feels dry an inch below the surface. Once the bulbs have finished flowering, leave the leaves to die back naturally. The bulbs can then be stored in a cool, dry, dark place and replanted next autumn. The container can be reused by planting it up with spring or summer flowers or you could even use it as a vase!
