Grow your own potato crop. With these Bambino Salad Seed Potatoes. From our friends at Potato House.

What makes me special?

- Plant these seed potatoes to grow your own Bambino salad spuds
- Organically grown and ready for your garden
- Best harvested when small, so you can enjoy their dense, creamy flesh in salads. Or crush them and roast for an amazing take on roasties
- Andrew Skea, the genius behind Potato House, grows many of the main crop potatoes you might have enjoyed in your boxes
- Delivered with zero air-miles
- Remove your seed potatoes from their net as soon as you receive them, pop them in a tray or egg box on a sunny windowsill to 'chit'. Wait for shoots to sprout out of the 'eyes' then plant them any time before June for a crop this year
- Small crops can grow in large containers like sacks or bins. Fill the bottom six inches of your container with potting compost and plant your potatoes just under the surface
- If you have the space, you can grow them in the ground. They like a sunny spot with good drainage. Dig a narrow trench about five inches deep and space your seed potatoes about 12 inches apart

Ingredients & allergens

Storage & prep

Remove your seed potatoes from their net as soon as you receive them, pop them in a tray or egg box on a sunny windowsill to 'chit'. Wait for shoots to sprout out of the 'eyes' (this can take a few weeks). Once you have some shoots you can plant your potatoes, plant them any time before June for a crop this year. You can grow small crops in large containers like sacks or bins. Fill the bottom six inches of your container with potting compost and plant your potatoes just under the surface. As the new stems grow keep covering them with more compost under the container is full. Alternatively, if you have the space, you can grow them in the ground. They like a sunny spot with good drainage. Dig a narrow trench about five inches deep and space your seed potatoes about 12 inches apart. 'Earth them up' as new shoots emerge as this will encourage your spuds to grow downwards.
