You should be able to use a little of your organic winter savory right away, but it's best to grow the plant on for a couple of weeks before giving it a bigger chop. If your plant outgrows the fully compostable pot, you can replant in an indoor planter or outside. Make sure your plant gets a good dose of sunshine and you won’t be disappointed in the resulting flavour.

Storage & prep

Open straight away and water well. Likes a sunny windowsill or sunny bed outside. Winter savory is a perennial, semi-evergreen herb and may die down in Winter but come back in the Spring. Give it a trim in the Spring.
