Jo Wright and her team at Organic Blooms work hard to bring organic flowers to your door. Based in Gloucestershire, they run as a social enterprise, providing jobs for those who might struggle in a traditional workplace. Horticultural therapy is at the heart of what they do – gardening and plant-tending being excellent options for those with varying support needs. We work with them to plan upcoming crops, making sure each flower is reliable, interesting and satisfying for their staff to grow. We’re proud to say that, because of our support, they’ve been able to hire more people than ever before.

Storage & prep

You’ll get a fantastic little care card to go with your fantastic group of basil plug plants. From how best to grow them, to the description of the varieties, to food and drink recipes, you’ll have all the info you need right at your fingertips to make your basil experience a proper joy. You don't need a garden to enjoy these, they'll do marvellously on a kitchen windowsill or even in a window box.

These plants are grown and boxed up being careful to reduce packaging as much as possible. The little plants are carefully taken out of the pots they grow in and folded into paper ready for transport. There is a label on the insdie lid of the box telling you which varieties you have. You can then pot up and label each plant and enjoy plastic free gardening!
