Producer

These pattipan squash come from Clive Martin's farm in Cambridgeshire. Clive's kept us in amazing veg for years, and has grown everything from rhubarb to asparagus for us on his Fenland farm.

Ingredients & allergens

Abel & Cole handles celery, celeriac, peanuts and nuts on site. Due to our packing process and re-use of boxes there is a risk of cross-contamination from these, and all other allergens.

While we do everything we can to ensure the information on this page is correct, ingredients, nutritional and dietary information are subject to change. So along with the information on our website, we always recommend that you read each label carefully before enjoying your items

Storage & prep

To prepare simply cut into chunks and cook as desired. The skin does not need to be removed. It is best used as an ingredient in soup or roasted and seasoned along with other vegetables. Pattipans are no ordinary members of the squash family. Show them some respect by keeping them in the fridge along with your other softer veg like courgettes. They should get along like a house on fire.
Don’t forget to wash your fruit and veg before use.

Matters of the heart & soil
Organic farms by nature, save the long term fertility of the soil by allowing worms, insects and more to flourish. There are more living organisms in a handful of good soil than there are people on earth.
