This week's plants - corn salad, purple frills, green or red salad bowl
Keep your garden looking fresh and vibrant with a subscription to our Organic Plant Club, courtesy of Organic Blooms. You’ll receive a selection of pollinator-friendly plants, perfectly timed and ready for growing on and planting out that month. Sometimes you will receive a pack of plug plants, and sometimes it will be a selection of two or three more mature plants. This subscription is ideal for creating beautiful, seasonal displays with ease throughout the spring and summer months.
From the week commencing 15th July you'll receive three salad plants so you can fill your own salad bowl at home. Corn salad, is also known as Lamb's Lettuce, and has loveled crunchy, juicy little leaves. Purple frills is a serrated leaf with a lovely purple colour and peppery. As well as salads it also works well in stir fries when added after cooking. You'll also receive either green salad or red salad bowl plant, a lovely garden mix of fresh lettuce leaves.
