Boost protein and fibre in a variety of dishes with Sharpham Park’s organic Pearled Spelt. Traditionally used in baking breads, this ancient grain has been grown in Somerset since the Iron Age. Sharpham Park produce their pearl spelt by bouncing it over rotating stones to remove the outer layer of bran, leaving the ‘pearl’ grain. During cooking, these pearls soak up all the flavours of your dish, making it fantastic for adding to risottos, soups and salads.

Sharpham Park is a 300-acre historic park that dates all the way back to the Bronze Age. Neighbouring Glastonbury, its rolling fields of organic spelt and over 300 walnut trees are a natural haven for local wildlife all year round. Using only traditional milling methods, we can’t think of a more fitting maker of this ancient grain.
