We're thrilled to bring you these potted chives. The ideal accompaniment to cream cheese and crackers or summertime potato salads, organic chives impart an onion-like flavour to all manner of dishes. If allowed to bloom, chive flowers are also edible, and are particularly flavoursome when pickled.

Chives thrive in plenty of sunlight and moist but well-drained soil. If they outgrow the pot they arrive in, replanting indoors or out is a simple process thanks to their tightly packed root structure.

Steven and Louis grow organic potted herbs near Duffel in Belgium. Each pot is carefully grown and tended to using rainwater irrigation and organic compost. The pots are kerbside recyclable in the UK, or can be reused at home.
