Natural Grower’s 50-year journey is a testament to how resilient and innovative organic farming can be. On the Nevill Holt farm, their first foray was into dairy before diversifying into arable crops like maize. As part of the change, the team there invested in using renewable energy from an anaerobic digester. Maize foliage went in, organic power came out, joined by a nutrient-rich fertiliser. This fertiliser turned out to be so helpful for their crops that they started sharing it with all the other keen growers who were looking for an organic solution.
