Wild foraged. Seasonal. And perfect to pair with seafood dishes. Our Wild Coastal Mix contains at least three coastal foraged delicacies.
What makes me special?
- A sustainably-foraged taste of the British seaside
- Adds a little saltiness to garnishes, salads and fish dishes
- Alexander Leaf: The leaves have a mild parsley/celery flavour. Add them to salads or as you would other herbs
- Sea Purslane: Salty and crunchy leaves. Can be used in salads, stir-fries or as a side vegetable.
- Sea Cabbage: Also known as Sea Kale, this can be treated as regular cabbage. Try steaming then tossing with garlic butter
- Sea Radish: Pungent and peppery, with an unmistakable radish flavour. Enjoy raw in salads or cook gently as a side dish.
- Black Mustard: With a hot, pungent flavour and a vinegar-like tang. Use sparingly in salads, or cook like spinach in stir fries.
- Sea Beet: Like an earthier, saltier spinach. Steam or sauté to accompany fish or grilled meats.
- Saltbush: Use as a bed for fish and meats to impart a salty, herbal flavour. Or toast until crispy and use as a seasoning.
Wash before use.
