Stay secure with Regular Organic Cotton Tampons from Natracare. Each tampon is plastic-free and carefully crafted from GOTs certified, 100% organic cotton with no perfume, rayon, chlorine or dyes. The wavy cotton fibres naturally knit together, and don’t shed inside you. Each one comes inside a handy cardboard applicator, with a smooth rounded tip to help with insertion.

Plus, 10p from every pack sold in the UK is donated to City to Sea, a charity helping to fight plastic pollution.

These regular tampons are ideal for light-to-medium flow days. Aim to use the lowest absorbency for your flow, changing your tampon out every 3-4 hours, or sooner if you feel you need it. You shouldn’t feel a tampon when it’s inserted correctly.

Used tampons should be disposed of in your general waste bin, or a sanitary bin if you’re out and about. Natracare tampons are biodegradable, so will break down fully over time.

Natracare have been organic ever since it was founded in 1989, when Susie Hewson learned about the chlorine bleaching, plastics and toxins used in conventional period care products. It encouraged Susie to create an alternative product offering of period protection that was totally chlorine free and plastic free.

Ingredients & allergens

Cotton* * = produced to organic standards. The smooth, easy glide cardboard applicator has a rounded, petal-shaped end that makes inserting the tampon easier and more comfortable. The applicator is made from totally chlorine-free, biodegradable card.

Storage & prep

To use:
- Wash and dry your hands thoroughly before unwrapping your tampon.
- Make sure the applicator is ‘unlocked’ before inserting it. To check that, hold the applicator by the grooves and then turn the inner tube so it moves freely.
- To insert, hold the applicator by the grooves using your thumb and ring finger. Insert the tampon at a slight angle (you want to aim towards the small of your back) and slide it into place, stopping when the outer tube is fully inserted. Then use your middle finger or other hand to push the inner tube into place, pushing the tampon out of the applicator. Then simply remove the applicator and dispose of it as appropriate.
