This is a wonderful little rose made from Grenache and Caladoc grapes. It has that gorgeous light pink colour and comes from the most ‘lauded’ region for Rose wines. With fresh acidity and lovely notes of roses and red berries, it’s a fridge staple.

Producer

André Benoit owns 24 hectares of vineyards in the IGP des Bouches du Rhône region just north of Provence, and in the Provence region itself. His son, Fabrice, heads the estate now and converted to organic farming in 1998. Their vineyards are planted with many red and white grapes. Rather than trying to compete with the best of the Rhone or Provence, they make their wines to be unique, with the ‘sunshine’ of their Provencal region.
