Taifun have been, rather impressively, 100% organic and vegan in everything they create from day one. Starting in 1985 in Germany, Klaus Kempff began selling tofu as an alternative source of protein, making it all by hand with his sister and friends. By 1997 they became the first company in Freiburg to be awarded an environmental audit certification and since then have won numerous awards for their food and services.
