Organic custard apples (or also known as Cherimoya) are satisfyingly sweet, fleshy exotic fruit that you might not have come across before. The ‘custard’ apple name isn’t just for show either. They have a rich, mango-like taste and texture, with more than a hint of fragrant vanilla to sweeten the deal. A perfect pick for those who like their fruit bowl to be a conversation starter.

Producer

These custard apples come from Michael's farm in Andalucia. Originally from Germany, Michael moved to Spain several years ago, and now works with a few very small farms, growing our more exotic fruits like custard apples, quince and pomegranates.

Ingredients & allergens

Abel & Cole handles celery, celeriac, peanuts and nuts on site. Due to our packing process and re-use of boxes there is a risk of cross-contamination from these, and all other allergens.

Storage

Better to keep in the fruit bowl until ripe and then in the fridge

Organic tastes better
We reckon slow grown food that’s allowed to go at its own pace tastes the best. Don’t just take our word for it.
"The vegetables are all really fresh, keep longer than supermarket and have so much more flavour."
