Your stunning, organic flowers are sourced from four hardworking, women-led farms right here in the UK. Organic Blooms is run as a social enterprise, providing horticultural therapy and jobs for those with learning difficulties.
Clover Nursery is run by one-woman team Vicky, who splits her time between the farm and the school pick-up. She plants early bulbs, so we have stunning, British-grown flowers from the start of spring onwards.
Wards Farm near Exeter is home to our chrysanthemum queen Naomi. She also grows all sorts of species throughout the year as well as raising ducks on a beautiful organic farm that was resuced from conventional mono-cropping.
Liz grows flowers on Kensons farm alongside husband Hugh's salads. They cheerily compete for space as each crop comes to fruition.
If your flowers look a little tired on arrival, don't be alarmed! They just need a little care to get them started and they should last for at least a week, usually longer. Please re-cut the stems on an angle, remove any lower foliage and place in clean water, away from direct sunlight. Keep the water fresh and the vase clean and remove blooms as they fade. Use a vase or container that is tall enough to fully support the stems, if you're not sure experiment with different containers, take a step back and decide which is best. This bouquet has been arranged for you so you can relax and enjoy.
