We’ve recently come together with The Country Trust, an organisation that specialises in providing opportunities, education and farming for children all around food. This is anything from cooking demos in the classroom to getting stuck in the mud on farm visits and trips to the countryside.
The Country Trust
Let's start at the very beginning
To make good food we’ve always believed you need to start with good ingredients, which is why we donate organic fruit & veg and some pantry bits and bobs so the children in the cooking classes can learn all about seasonal food and discover that there isn’t real blood in a blood orange (among other things!)
Puttin' on the ritz
Our Charlotte and Sam recently had a night on the tiles, as they were invited to the charity’s 40th Anniversary knees up.
‘It was so lovely for Charlotte and I to attend the 40th anniversary of the Country Trust. It’s been a real privilege to be able to work with an organisation that’s so close to our hearts, and it’s been great to see the positive impact we can have on children who may not have had the opportunity to explore the importance of food and where it comes from. We donned our best business attire, and headed up to London to raise a glass with the trustees and all involved to celebrate the wonderful work that the Country Trust does to bring joy and wonder to children’s lives.’
